OCONEE COMMUNITY THEATRE- Take Five
Director: Jerry Sieff (See Jerry’s profile on our Directors page)
The play “Take Five” deals with love, marriage, divorce, death and all the steps in between. The play has one set, the “Viewing Room” of Charlie’s funeral home.
The story is that of recently departed, or is he, Seamus; it’s his funeral and his remains are on display. His present wife, Tara, is burying him. His four ex-wives show up one by one to say goodbye and the sparks fly. Each had a love/hate relationship with him and feels the need to vent.
When the body is missing at the end of the first act it throws the five wives together as a posse in search of not only the body but the reasons behind its disappearance.
